This is a rare Coffee urn made by the AMERICAN COFFEE URN MFG. CO. L.A. CALIFORNIA. It features a cubed shape main body that is 11 × 11 × 11 inches. 3.5 inch spigot and the handle at the top of the lid gives it an overall height of 16 inches. The latches on the lid work perfectly. The handles and strap mounts on the side are sturdy and secure with no wiggle. The push button spigot functions properly. The inside is in good shape. It looks like it would hold 3 gallons. There's no holes anywhere that I can find. It sounds like there's some debris in the space between the galvanized box and the carafe when you turn it on its side. I'm not sure what it would be other than part of the insulation. I have not seen an example like this and am sure this is pretty rare and hard to find, especially of this quality. Please study the photos for the best description. This could possibly be cleaned up and used, but I would question the integrity of the seal where the spigot goes in. At any rate, this is a very cool piece. Thanks for looking!
