What is Fukuro Obi ?

Fukuro obi is positioned as one of the most prestigious obi to be worn with a kimono.
The name comes from the fact that it is made by sewing two different pieces of fabric together in a bag shape（Fukuro）for the outer and inner lining.
Generally used for prestigious ceremonies and celebrations, there are various types of obis, such as gold or silver with gorgeous patterns, or one-pointed patterns that can be used as a fashionable obi.
Because it can be used for a wide range of purposes, it is one of the most popular obis.
