Description

This is a rare Phase 1 Univox Hi-Flier. It's the equivalent of the Aria 1702T in Japan. It's known for being used by Nirvana's Kurt Cobain. The overall design is Mosrite-inspired, with a roller bridge and other attention to detail. The pickups are large-wound single coils inspired by Mosrites. They have a distinctive character reminiscent of Gibson P-90s. While the exterior shows signs of aging, including scratches, touch-ups, and wear, the overall guitar is in excellent condition. It will be shipped free of charge in the hard case shown in the photo.

The pickup escutcheon and roller bridge roller have been replaced with metal ones. The tremolo arm is a modified Fender one. There is paint repair on the back of the neck between the 1st and 2nd frets, but it is in good condition and does not affect playability. The body has some paint touch-ups and minor scratches, but is generally in good condition.
