Includes the rare double patent stamps: Nov 17, 1896 (Frame Design) and May 4, 1897 (Clog-free Teeth). West Mfg. Co. was a staple of Buffalo's industrial boom, making this a cross-collectible for both kitchenware and regional history enthusiasts.

CONDITION:

Museum quality for a primitive tool. The 6oz tinned steel body is structurally sound. The "teeth" remain sharp and have not been flattened by a century of use. It retains a beautiful, mellow golden-brown patina.
