    INSTALLATION NOTES

    Before Installation:

    1. Disconnect the power supply

    Before starting the installation, make sure you have disconnected the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery to prevent unintended passage of current and avoid the risk of electric shock or short circuit.

    2. Clean the installation location

    Before installing a new ignition coil, clean the ignition coil holder and the area around it to ensure that there is no dust, oil or other contaminants that could affect the contact quality.

    3. Check the spark plug

    Check the condition of the spark plugs before installing a new ignition coil. If the spark plugs are worn or have reached their replacement cycle, it is recommended that they be replaced at the same time to ensure optimum performance of the ignition system.

     

    When Installing:

    4. Correct torque

    When installing the ignition coil, it is important to use the correct torque to hold it in place. Over-tightening may damage the ignition coil or mount, while over-loosening may result in poor contact or looseness.

    5. Connection check

    Ensure that the electrical connections to the ignition coil are secure and not corroded. After installation, check that all connections are correct and that the ignition coil and associated cables have not been pulled or twisted.

    6. Replacement one by one

    If more than one ignition coil is being replaced, it is recommended that they be replaced one at a time to avoid confusing the ignition sequence or electrical connections.
