Intrapur Plus Infusions filter 0,2 µm is a medical inline infusion filter used in intravenous (IV) therapy. It is designed to be placed in the infusion line between the IV bag and the patient to remove contaminants from the fluid before it enters the bloodstream.
Key Features
0.2 µm Filtration Pore Size – the membrane filters out particles larger than 0.2 micrometres, including bacteria and many microorganisms.
Endotoxin-Retentive, Positively Charged Membrane – the membrane is positively charged so it can retain bacterial endotoxins (lipopolysaccharides from Gram-negative bacteria), providing an extra level of purification.
Air Elimination – filters can help separate and vent air from the fluid line regardless of orientation, reducing the risk of air embolism.
Luer Lock Connectors – standardized connectors that securely attach the filter inline with IV tubing.
Flow and Use
Flow rate: > 30 ml/min (with water)
Recommended maximum use: up to ~96 hours during an infusion.
