British Trilobite Gravicalymene arcuata

Collected from the upper Ordovician 

Dolhir Formation, Ashgill series, 

Corwen, Wales, 

From an old collection, this is a very good and nicely prepared example of the trilobite Gravicalymene arcuata, collected from the Berwyn Hills of Denbighshire in Wales, the trilobite measures 2.5cm in length approx., on a piece of matrix measuring 9cm by 9cm approx.

Three of the edges of the matrix have been ground smooth, so the trilobite can be displayed stood up on a number of angles.

A VERY NICE DISPLAYABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS CLASSIC WELSH ORDOVICIAN TRILOBITE
