80681 B&M Automatic Gated Shifter - Z-Gate

Universal 3 & 4-speed Compatible Shifter. Sometimes the best design is the simplest one, and the Z-Gate shifter is a great example of just that. With the fewest moving parts of any automatic shifter in the B&M line, the Z-Gate shifter and its patented internal "Z" shaped gate system eliminates the possibility of over-shifting and missing gears. Fewer moving parts means less possibility of failure and with many of the same great features of the higher priced shifters, you just can't go wrong! The Reverse lockout meets NHRA and IHRA requirements. Includes neutral safety switch, backup light switch, black T-Handle. Fits most popular 3-speed transmission applications. Notes: Ford AOD transmissions will require optional kit# 40496. Fits GM TH400, TH350, 250 and 200 automatic transmissions. Ford, Lincoln, Mercury C4, C5, C6 and AOD automatic transmissions. Also fits 1966 and later Chrysler Torqueflite A727 (36RH/37RH), A518 (46RH/46RE), A618 (47RH/47RE/48RE), A904 (30RH), A999 (32RH), A500 (40RH/42RH/40RE/42RE/44RE) transmissions.
