Installation Precautions
1. Before installation, please keep your smart key fob at least 35 feet away from the vehicle to prevent code from being set in the ECU when the accelerator pedal is disconnected!
2. Be sure to disconnect the battery before installation, otherwise your car will be in limp mode!
3. Any modified vehicle, as long as the ECU data of the original car factory agreement has been modified, cannot use this product, otherwise the code will appear or your car will be in limp mode! Before buying, please make sure that your car has not modified the ECU data of the original car factory agreement!
Precautions during use
1. Please do not change or switch the use mode of the accelerator while driving. For example, if you are currently in sports mode, you can only fine-tune, but cannot switch to racing mode or comfort mode, etc. Your car will be in limp mode, if you need to switch modes, please pull over and switch again!
2. The Throttle Response Controller will not invalidate your factory or extended service period. So if you do need to take your vehicle to a dealer for any issues, please remove our accelerator. The reason is that if a dealership technician finds an accelerator installed, they can use that as a reason not to perform the service!
3. This device will not change your existing ECU tuning or increase horsepower! It just manipulates the voltage signal sent from the accelerator pedal to the ECU by measuring what the pedal outputs and adding the signal voltage online before it reaches the ECU!
