This is an original press photo. Vladimir Shabinsky, who identified himself as a former Russian Army lieutenant colonel, gestures Thursday as he tells Senate probers in Washington that the Russians kidnapped some 2000 German scientists between 1944 and 1947. Shabinsky said that "my leaders told me and other officers in Germany after World War II that the United States was our No.1 enemy." Photo measures 6.5 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 11-22-1957.
