1/12 scale plastic model kit of the Yamaha FZR750R (OW01), part of Tamiya's 1/12 Motorcycle Series (No.58), Item No:14058.The FZR750R, released in March 1989, is known as the pure replica of Yamaha's 4-stroke works machine YZF750. Developed for racing participation, it features a compact, high-revving 750cc inline 4-cylinder 5-valve engine, titanium connecting rods, enlarged intake and exhaust ports, and the "EXUP" exhaust system for improved efficiency and high output.
The frame and swingarm use an aluminum Deltabox structure, and the rear is equipped with a highly regarded Ohlins shock unit, providing racing-spec suspension as standard. The fairing shares the same form as the YZF and is made of high-quality FRP, reflecting the machine's premium, high-performance character. The real bike was sold as a limited production model of 1,000 units worldwide, making it a coveted machine among motorcycle enthusiasts.
