Beautiful and rare handpainted aquamarine vase with matte iridescence and green transparent with white opaque enamel handpainted design by none other than Ludwig Sutterlin circa 1901. Born in Lahr Germany in 1865, Sutterlin later trained in Berlin and worked as an educator and graphic artist. Best known for creating a national script for Germany called Sutterlinschrift. His works are largely sought after and found at quality auction houses worldwide. Stands approximately 7.5” tall and is in excellent antique condition.
