***Selling here is a scarce portfolio by The Wynkyn De Worde Society. All items loosely inserted as issued in the original card portfolio. Measuring; 35.5cm x 26.5cm.** 

The "1766–1966 Portfolio to commemorate the two-hundredth anniversary of the death of William Caslon" is a limited-edition publication released by the Wynkyn de Worde Society in 1966. 
The portfolio was compiled by Kenneth Day to honour the legacy of William Caslon (1692–1766), the renowned English typefounder who established the Caslon Foundry and designed some of the most influential typefaces in history

 

Condition: See photos as part of condition report: All nine items present, some light marks to the card folio. short split to the upper joint.
