The intricate cutout design showcases geometric patterns, scrollwork, and traditional Southwestern motifs against a deeply oxidized background. Each stone is set in twisted rope bezels with silver raindrop accents enhancing the composition. HMIJ Ortega operated out of Santa Fe, creating quality Navajo silverwork known for detailed overlay technique and fine stonework. The hand stamped sun face kachina hallmark with K on the reverse authenticates this as genuine Ortega work.
