HOLY BUCKETS!!,!! Look at the condition of this unit. Sheesh Man, it is almost pristine. I am currently running it to be sure it sounds exactly the way it should and to acclimate all installed new parts. I leave noting to question. Like always I bugged this technician to be sure the restoration was up to my specifications. I DO NOT want a 3/4 job done. Sansuioldaudiophile loves and cares for these units so that you can have the maximum amount of enjoyment I have from all Sansui products I sell.

I hace run a 551, 661, and this 771. Now to see what I put into this. The seller said: Oh yeah I had this looked at and some repair was done….WRONG!!!!! I Paid top price for this only due to the Excellent+ to Near Mint condition it is in. Is it perfect. No..Is it the best one I have seen the only other one I have in this series in this condition is the 661 I have for sale. Otherwise most of the ones I parted out looked abused.

With a pair of JBL, Acoustic Research, Advent, Boston Acoustics, you can even run a lower power set of Cerwin Vega with this.
Oh yeah for 32W it has plenty of headroom for 15” woofers. Currently I am running the on Cerwin Vega DX-9. Sounds absolutely fantastic. Do not miss out on one of the best budget receivers Sansui built. It certainly does not sound like it was lower priced. I would definitely compare this to a 6060. As a non-DC amplifier is sounds close to a 6060 and has almost as much top end.

This has been fully restored by a technician that specializes in classic audio. All necessary caps have been replaced. I always have the main power output caps replaced. Driver Card was completely restored including the bias pots. Power board was serviced and a restoration kit was installed including caps and necessary resistors.  Tuner capacitor cleaned a tuner board was serviced and aligned.
