Original World War I U.S. Army M1917 wool mounted service breeches, correct for cavalry, artillery, and other mounted troops.
These breeches feature the proper WWI-era construction, including reinforced inner knee/calf panels, lace-up ankle cuffs, high-rise cut, and heavy khaki/olive drab wool fabric. Designed to be worn with riding boots or puttees. Interior shows an early Quartermaster stencil marking “66 HQ 4611”, consistent with WWI-era inspection and lot markings.
This is an authentic WWI-period military garment — not a reproduction.
Good original condition for a WWI wool garment. Shows scattered moth nips/pinholes and general age wear, consistent with long-term storage. No major tears or structural damage. Laces present. All stitching intact. Please review photos carefully.
