I installed Motic Images Plus 3.11 from the thumb drive onto the warehouse Thinkpad X1 and the software worked perfectly once I installed the Motic Twain driver.  Your results may be different.  However I can guarantee that the microscope and the camera function perfectly.  No Lenovo X1 is included with this unit.
