Charles Upham VC signed 1980 New Zealand VE-Day 35th anniversary cover.

Served with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force and was the only person to receive two VCs during WWII. In May 1941 at the Battle of Crete, and in July 1942 during the First Battle of El Alamein at Ruweisat Ridge, Egypt.
