The Aeroflow Performance Hi-Flow Thermostat (Part No: AF49-1044) is engineered specifically for high-performance street, drag racing, and track applications, opening fully and consistently at 180°F (80°C).

Unlike standard thermostats that can be pushed shut by the immense pressure of high-volume water pumps, this high-flow design is built to resist large variations in coolant pressure at elevated RPMs. This ensures a consistent, unrestricted flow of coolant exactly when your engine needs it most, mitigating the risk of costly overheating or catastrophic engine failure during heavy load or sustained high revs.
