Appearance: fine-crystalline powder

Potassium aluminum alum (also known as potassium aluminum sulfate) is a natural mineral widely used for its astringent, antiseptic, hemostatic, and drying properties.

Solubility: poorly soluble in cold water, well soluble in hot water, slowly soluble in glycerin, in the presence of guar. Almost does not weather in air. At 92° C, aluminum-potassium alums melt in water of crystallization, at 120° C they lose water of crystallization, turning into burnt alums - a white powder, poorly soluble in water.

Cosmetic use:

1-100%, perfectly soluble in the presence of guar or glycerin

- deodorants and freshness crystals - up to 100%;

- astringent and stretching tonics - 1-3%;

- foot gels for hyperhidrosis - 4-6%;

- acne control - 2-10%

- mosquito bite gels - 5-10%;

- hair rinses - 1-2%.
