Ferrous Sulphate 200 mg Tablets are an effective source of iron, used to treat and prevent iron deficiency anaemia — a condition caused by a lack of iron in the body. Iron is essential for making healthy red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body.
Each tablet contains 200 mg of ferrous sulphate (equivalent to ~65 mg elemental iron)

Ferrous Sulphate 200 mg Tablets are used to:
Treat iron deficiency anaemia (low iron levels)
Prevent anaemia during pregnancy or after blood loss
Support recovery after illness or surgery
Help maintain normal energy and vitality
Iron is an essential mineral that helps your body produce haemoglobin, the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen.
Ferrous sulphate replenishes low iron levels, helping reduce symptoms like:
Fatigue or weakness
Pale skin
Shortness of breath
Dizziness
Adults: Take one 200 mg tablet 2–3 times daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Swallow whole with water, preferably on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after food).
If stomach upset occurs, take with or after food.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not take if allergic to ferrous sulphate or any ingredient in the tablets.
Keep out of reach of children — accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children.
Avoid taking with tea, coffee, or dairy products, which can reduce iron absorption.
Do not take iron supplements unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Consult your doctor before use if you have ulcers, intestinal disorders, or blood transfusions.
Like all medicines, ferrous sulphate can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Common ones include:
Stomach upset, nausea, or constipation
Darkened stools (harmless)
Occasional diarrhoea or abdominal discomfort
Seek medical advice if you experience severe stomach pain, vomiting, or signs of an allergic reaction (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing).
