Introduced in 1968, the Memovox Polaris was Jaeger-LeCoultre's first diver's watch with an alarm function.
This legendary diver's watch sounded an alarm to alert divers when their oxygen tanks were running low.
This Polaris Mariner Memovox pays homage to that model.
The ▲ mark on the rotating disc in the centre of the dial indicates the time at which the alarm will sound.
The movement is the modern 956 with a 44-hour power reserve.
The dial, made up of three concentric circles finished with different textures that are characteristic of Polaris, is eye-catching.
