The history of the Pasha is said to have begun with a waterproof watch created in response to a request from the Sultan of Marrakech, Morocco, who requested a watch that could be used while swimming in his home pool.
In 1943, a waterproof round-case watch was created, which would become the prototype for the Pasha (=Sultan) series. This Pasha was revived in 2020 as the Pasha de Cartier.
The watch continues to feature a bold square minute scale in the center of the beautiful flinqué-decorated guilloche dial, sword-shaped blued steel hands, and a screw-down crown protector that covers the inner crown to ensure water resistance.
The movement is equipped with the in-house automatic caliber 1847MC, which also has excellent magnetic resistance, and the new "Quick Switch" system located in the lugs allows for easy strap changes.
This watch has been overhauled and refinished at our shop.
