Material Overview

MCE (Mixed Cellulose Ester) 

Designed for water-based filtration. Features good flow rate, low protein adsorption, and stable performance. Commonly used for general aqueous filtration and analytical preparation.

PES (Polyethersulfone) 

Asymmetric membrane structure provides high flow rate and excellent filtration efficiency. Suitable for water solutions with good chemical and temperature stability.

Nylon –

Made from polyamide material without added wetting agents. Ideal for aqueous solutions and most mild organic solvents, especially alkaline and alcohol-based liquids.

PTFE – Hydrophobic ONLY

PTFE membrane is chemically stable and suitable for filtering water, organic solvents, strong acids, and alkaline solutions.
⚠️ This product is Hydrophobic PTFE only (Hydrophilic PTFE is not available).

Diameter Selection Guide

• 13mm: For sample volumes up to 10ml

• 25mm: For sample volumes over 10ml

  Notes

  1. Use syringes 10cc or larger to avoid excessive pressure that may damage the membrane.

  2. Disposable design – single use only.

  3. Discard the initial filtrate to remove dead volume (approx. 1ml for 25mm), or pre-rinse the filter before use.
