This is an old A.Hildick - 15/16" wood gouge fitted with a brass ferrule and ash handle measuring approximately 11½" overall, blade 5½" long

The blade is in a tarnished & stained condition with light surface rust to the front but no corrosion - whilst the handle is sound with some knocks, marks & stains 

It has a small edge chip which will need attention in terms of a quick sharpen/hone
