This is NeonPro’s twin sibling HONGBA. The UL Listed Hongba labeled transformers that are direct from the Hyrite Lighting factory are identical to NeonPro. The only difference is the name on the label and price. But beware: There are non UL Listed Hongba and counterfeits and forgeries that are becoming more prevalent in the US market. Some look almost the same, but the internal components are not the same and they do not comply with UL 2161 Ground Fault Protection requirements for safety, even if the label shows that they do.

These have various safety features and are designed to operate a neon sign only! They should not be used for a Tesla coil, Jacob's ladder, wood burning, O-zone generator or other "experiments" or "projects". Doing so will void the warranty.

 

BEFORE BUYING BE SURE THIS IS THE PROBLEM! Your sign stopped working and you are assuming the transformer is the problem. There are several reasons why a neon sign may not work. A bad power supply is just one possibility. UL Listed Hyrite Lighting transformers / power supplies, whether NeonPro or HONGBA, historically have a defect rate of <0.01% (less than 1/100^th of 1 percent). Although not impossible, it is extremely unlikely that you will receive a defective item. So, if this does not fix your sign then there is probably another problem with the sign. Once it has been connected to a sign it may not be returned for a refund, whether it fixes the sign or not. And please don’t try touching the secondary wires together to make an arc to see if it works. One of the safety features is open circuit protection. The unit will produce very little voltage, if any at all, in an open circuit condition. So, you will not be able to cause an arc.
