Module parameters:
·A single module can drive an 8 * 8 common cathode dot matrix
·Module working voltage: 5V
·Module size: Length 3.2 cm X Width 3.2 cm X Height 1.3 cm
·Equipped with 4 fixed screw holes, with a diameter of 3mm, can be fixed with M3 copper columns
·Module with input/output interface, supporting cascading of multiple modules
Wiring instructions:
The left side of the module is the input port, and the right side is the output port.
When controlling a single module, simply connect the input port to the CPU
When multiple modules are cascaded, the input of the first module is connected to the CPU, the output is connected to the input of the second module, the output of the second module is connected to the input of the third module, and so on
Taking the 51 microcontroller as an example:
· VCC → 5V
· GND → GND
· DIN → P20
· CS → P21
· CLK → P22
matters needing attention:
·VCC and GND cannot be reversed to avoid burning out the chip!
·When using the P0 port control of the 51 microcontroller, a pull-up resistor must be connected, with a recommended resistance of 4.7K-10K
·Please insert the dot matrix into the circular hole holder first, and then insert the circular hole holder into the PCB board for soldering. Turn the side of the dot matrix with words towards yourself, and the pin order from left to right on this side is 123456. The first pin of the PCB board is a square solder pad!
