Photos show that there is no damage to the base.  The stopper glass is not damage either. The stopper is separated from the cork, which is lodged inside the neck of the bottle.  The lip of the bottle appears to have a dark spot on one side, which you can see as I rotated the bottle for front/back photos.  That is really a clear part of the glass that has no opalescence to it, lack of color not discoloration.

There is some cork dust inside the bottle, but I wasn't going to disturb the cork to clean it out.
