LEER 100XQ 65" Rear door bottom seal # 82792:
This seal is a replacement for the older LEER 100XQ all glass rear doors that do not have a door skirt. The seal comes with a strip of premium 3M double sided tape attached and ready to install on the bottom of the rear door.
This seal may not be for all LEER 100XQ truck caps, please verify that your unit had this originally.
Measurements:
1-3/8" Tall
Fits 3/16" thick glass
Once installed the flap will hang down 1/2" from bottom of glass door
Install is as easy as:
Remove old seal and all tape/residue on glass.
Clean the glass with alcohol to remove all dirt and oils, this ensures good adhesion between the glass and 3M tape.
Peel the backing from the 3M tape about 2" on each end of the seal and push the seal onto the edge of the glass.
Once the seal is into your desired position gently peel the rest of the backing off the tape.
The last step is to evenly press against the seal and the glass on the tape side to help adhesion.
On some applications, if the seal seems too tight when closing the door against the tailgate, you may have to adjust the rear door up at the hinges.
