Up for bid is a Borg Warner Velvet Drive 71C 1:1 Gear Ratio Marine transmission. Please see photographs and video to get a better sense of it. I purchased this for a boat project that never came to fruition.  This was mounted to a rebuilt engine that was in storage and never installed back into the boat. The engine was since installed in a different boat with that needed a  "v-drive gear". This gearbox may have been serviced at the time its original engine was rebuilt  - I don't have any documentation related to this gearbox history. Because I have never used this gearbox / tested it on a running engine I am selling it in the "The Parts / Not Working" Category. It is up to the buyer to determine if this will fit their application. The cooler line ports covered up with rags to keep the dust out of the gearbox. This gearbox was a little dusty from storage, I wiped down all surfaces with diesel and a rag before I photographed them for the listing - This will not look this shiny when you get it.
