AVENGERS # 23 VERY FINE/NEAR MINT 9.0  with bright white pages !! Exceptional spine structure with just four small, light stress lines, as commonly associated with the grade. The comic book is flat and smooth with no spine roll or upturn. The comic is exceptionally smooth and sleekly-defined with ultra-bright colors as well as high cover gloss and shine all the way across the entire expanse of its flawless surface area. No surface creases. The top and bottom right corners are sharp as well as practically perfect right angles. (See two zoom, close- up photos.) No corner creases. The edges of the comic are predominantly straight and excellent around the book, both front and back, although there is just a very small portion (about an inch) with some light wear near the top right edge which could be a little sharper if the book were NM- 9.2, but this is really the only notable wear on the entire comic as a whole, which presents with spectacular eye appeal and overall attractiveness. The inside and back covers are white and clean with smooth and nicely-defined surfaces and no stains or tanning noted. Centerfold is tight and secure at both of the internal staple bars which are silver and clean with no rust wear. Compact book--Tight binding. And the cover is firmly and securely-attached at both of the staples which are silver and clean as well as evenly placed right along the cusp edge of the spine.
