Ovex® Threadworm Treatment – Mebendazole 100mg Tablet
Description
Ovex® 100mg tablets are used to treat threadworm (pinworm) infections in adults and children aged 2 years and over.
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 2 years and over: Take one 100mg tablet as a single dose
Tablet may be chewed, crushed, or swallowed with water
A second dose after 2 weeks may be required to prevent reinfection
All household members should be treated at the same time
Good hygiene practices are recommended
Warnings and Precautions
Not suitable for children under 2 years
Do not use if allergic to mebendazole or any ingredients
Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if:
Pregnant or breastfeeding
You have liver disease
You are taking other medicines
Avoid reinfection by washing hands and bedding thoroughly

What It Is Used For
Treats infections caused by threadworms (Enterobius vermicularis), which may cause itching around the anus, disturbed sleep, irritability, or loss of appetite.

Ingredients

Other ingredients include maize starch, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, povidone, and other excipients.
