Botanical name: Pavetta australiensis
- Impressive small rounded shrub to 4 m with soft, green leaves.
- Grows as an understory plant in some of the drier rain forests, monsoon forest, vine thickets and beach forest but also found in disturbed areas in upland rain forest.
- Full sun (80%-100%) and partial shade (60%-80%)
- Well known for its spectacular flowers. Showy white, perfumed flowers in dense clusters to 10 cm across, which appear in October to November, followed by fruit in February and March. Highly ornamental when flowering.
- This plant is a very good butterfly and moth attractor.
- Caterpillars that are known to feed on Pavetta include:
- Moth (Macroglossum hirundo)
- Coffee hawk moth (Cephonodes hylas)
- Gardenia hawk moth (Cephonodes kingie)
- Aussie White-brow Hawk Moth (Gnathothlibus erotus)
- Tolerant to most soil conditions
- Moderately fast growing and surprisingly hardy
- Frost tender
- Excellent shade and feature tree, great plant for suburban garden and acreage garden for biodiversity

- If you are placing orders with fewer than three items, please place separate orders. Any excessive postage will be refunded via eBay.

All orders are dispatched on Monday and Tuesday following payment. The cut-off time for dispatch is 9am.
Please be aware that once we hand the package over to Australia Post, it is out of our hands. We understand it can be frustrating if your plants take a while to get delivered, but there is very little we can do in such cases as we have no control over Australia Post.
Packing:
- All our packaging materials are recycled from local businesses.
- Our packaging method has proven to protect plants fully during shipping. If any damage occurs during shipping, please bring the parcel to your nearby post office for viewing and compensation, valued up to $100.
- No refund will be issued if the package is damaged by postal personnel or if plants die during transit.
