A rare piggy bank, likely to be by Wemyss in the late 19th century. The pig is sponged black on a cream ground and has a slot for coins. It measures 22cm x 15cm.

We believe it's a firing crack on the back near the slot,  as the piece is still firm and holds well. Otherwise it's in good condition. A rare piece of pottery, ready for display.
