This is a vintage / antique pepper shaper with a glass body and a metal top

Lots of these have silver tops but I cannot find any hall

Marks on this one

There is the word alpecca?? But hard to read

The glass body does have a chip on one foot

I have not tried to clean the silver top

So please note no obvious hall marks but could be silver
