This is an Interesting RARE, FRAMED Original Antique Stipple Engraving Print, Portrait of CHARLES DICKENS. It was produced in 1875, by John Watkins Photographer, and Joseph Brown Engraver. It was Published in England by Chapman and Hall.
It also bears a Facsimile Signature of Charles Dickens.
It is in Excellent condition. It measures 3 1/4 inch by 6 inch, (8.3cm x 15.2cm). (image size). The Period Frame is 5 3/4 inch by 8 1/2 inch, (14.6cm x 21.6cm).
There is an Example of this Antique Stipple Engraving in the Victoria and Albert Museum Collection.
