Ovex 100mg Tablets contain Mebendazole, an anti-parasitic medicine used to treat threadworm (pinworm) infections. It works by preventing the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), which causes them to die naturally and pass from the body.
The family pack of 4 tablets allows you to treat all household members at once, helping prevent reinfection and further spread.
Ovex is used to treat threadworm infections (Enterobius vermicularis), which can cause:
Itching around the anus, especially at night
Restlessness or disturbed sleep
Irritability or loss of appetite
Treating everyone in the household at the same time is important to avoid reinfection.
Adults and children aged 2 years and over: Take 1 tablet (100mg) as a single dose.
Tablets can be chewed, crushed, or swallowed whole with water.
A second dose may be taken after 2 weeks if reinfection occurs.
Maintain good hygiene: wash hands regularly, clean bedding, and keep nails short to prevent further infection.
Mebendazole 100mg per tablet
Maize starch, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, povidone, and other excipients (may vary by brand).
Most people do not experience side effects. Occasionally, mild reactions may occur:
Stomach cramps or discomfort
Diarrhoea or flatulence
Rare allergic reactions or rash

Do not take if allergic to Mebendazole or any ingredients
