Its compact form slightly smaller than standard open-face helmets combines lightweight (approximately 1000g) with strength (passing a 3m penetration test). Featuring cutting-edge technology including a hyper rib structure for increased shell strength and superior ventilation thanks to a ram air intake and vent slits the Hyper T is an ultra-lightweight compact model that expands the possibilities not only for trial helmets but for open-face helmets as a whole. It meets the new JIS standard JIST8133:2000 which has stricter testing standards for impact absorption and chin straps and also passes the 3m drop penetration test the same as the previous JISC and Snell standards. The Hyper T is a lightweight compact helmet with a shell that's slightly smaller than open-face helmets like the MX-3 and SZ series satisfying trial-grade functionality while also offering uncompromising safety. The helmet utilizes a cLc construction shell carefully incorporating several advanced materials including Super Fiber resulting in a product weight of approximately 1000g approximately 100g lighter than the previous AT-S JIS B-grade model. The luxuriously finished T-visor painted in the same color as the helmet body eliminates wind gusts from the front with its air path vent structure and also facilitates smooth airflow from the V-shaped ram air intake to the head. The V-center screw that secures the visor can be loosened and tightened by hand allowing for tool-free adjustment of the visor angle. The combination of the highly breathable mesh interior and the ear cups with sound ports that allow sound to pass through for even the most subtle engine noises achieves the traditional Arai enveloping fit reminiscent of the RX-7RR3 and MX-3. The Hyper T's ventilation system features a V-ram intake that takes in wind while riding and vent slits that create a chimney effect to dissipate internal heat even when standing. Also by attaching optional ducts to the two drain holes you can have a total of six ventilation points allowing for even more powerful ventilation.
