Preservative Euxyl K 903
INCI: Benzyl Alcohol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Tocopherol
Solubility: propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, glycerin
Dosage: 0.4-1.2%
Appears as: clear yellowish liquid with a specific odor
Preservative pH: 3-4

Cosmetic application of preservative Euxyl K 903:
- micellar water, wet wipes, tonics
- emulsions, gels, foams for skin cleansing
- shampoo, shower gel, two-phase cosmetics.

How to introduce Euxyl K 903 into cosmetics
The preservative will ideally be incorporated into the formula at a slightly acidic pH (less than 6). Do not overheat the cosmetic formula: do not heat above 80ºC and for more than 4 hours.

Euxil K 903 will protect the natural formula from harmful microorganisms even when added at 0.4% (about 8 drops per 100 g of the finished product). The maximum amount of introduction is 1.2%.

As a rule, the preservative is introduced into the emulsion at the final stage, when the temperature of the mixture is below 40ºC and continues to decrease.

Let us remind you that pH plays an important role, monitor this parameter: the higher the pH of the cosmetics, the shorter its shelf life. The ideal environment for this preservative is no higher than 6.

Storage: in a tightly corked bottle at 15-25ºC; avoid direct sunlight and overheating of Euxil
