Trifari considered this series of designs important enough to apply for a patent for every piece, signed by Alfred Philippe.  And the US Patent Office considered the designs unique enough to grant these patent applications in 1954.  This auction is for the entire parure:  necklace, bracelet, brooch, earrings.  It is not a common design to find, possibly due to its original cost.

On the adjustable necklace, the smooth rhodium-finished silvertone forms curved fronds that cross in the center, a deco-like interpretation of a bow with very flexible snake chain sides.  Each frond is decorated with lines of baguette rhinestones.  The brooch and earrings are curled silvertone with baguettes.  The bracelet links feature a baguette crossed design.  (The bracelet is a slightly different overall from the patent, but the links in the bracelet are the same design as the patent.)

All pieces are signed Trifari.
