Vintage USSR Items August 1972 Issue Of "Soviet Life" & 15 USSR Patriotic Pins and Buttons. The August 1972 issue of Soviet Life magazine features an Olympic gymnastics on the cover and the issue features stories on "Housing Program",  "Nationalities of the North" and "Olympic Contenders". The Soviet Life magazine was published by the USSR and distributed in the United States as part of a cultural exchange agreement between the two countries.

The pins and buttons are an eclectic collection of USSR/CCP (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) Buttons & Pins. The USSR existed from 1922 until it was dissolved in 1991. The collection includes three USSR & USA Spring 1990 Summit (between Gorbachev & Bush) buttons. Two Lenin related pins, a rare USSR anti-nuke pin, a Soviet Military hat insignia, 1980 Olympic pins and other assorted pins for a total of 15.

The magazine is in good condition considering that it is 53+ years old. All the pins and buttons are in excellent condition. Both have been in in environmentally controlled storage for many years.
