Derek Rodriguez started for the Giants, while Mike Montgomery went for the Royals. Whit Merrifield, Alex Gordon, Hunter Dozier, Salvador Perez, and Nicky Lopez all started. Kyle Isbel had an AB. The Royals lost the game 3-1.
