The watch has a 15-jewel Cortebert 540 S stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Tellus, a brand name registered by Wilhelm Ulrich of Tellus Clock Association of German Watchmakers in 1925. The company registered as a “trader of watches” which suggests they imported watches to be sold under the Tellus name. The brand name was registered in 1925. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition, just light surface marking to the bezel.
