This is the ceramic pot (container) used for the famous "Hippari Dako Meshi" Ekiben (train station lunch box) from Akashi City, Hyogo, Japan. The shape is modeled after a traditional "Takotsubo" (octopus fishing pot). It is often kept as a souvenir after enjoying the meal.
