Here is a stoneware decanter made in Germany. Schinken Hager distilled and bottled by H. C. Konig Steinhagen/Westfalen and imported by Erich Preiss, Company Los Angeles, California. This robust bottle stands 11 1/2 inches tall & 3 inches wide. Unknown age. It has dings and character in the paint and stoneware. Nothing major. Just what you would expect from an older painted stoneware decanter that add to its character. It honestly looks like it could have been found in the submerged wreckage of an old trading wooden ship. The paper label proves that is not the case. It is empty and is missing the cork or cap. Has a bit of the paper "tax" label on the top. The label is readable and well adhered and the colors are nice and sharp. It has the embossed warnings on the back about resale and reuse. I won't tell if you won't! This sturdy decanter would make a great gift or keep for your own collection. Free shipping in the lower 48 States.
