This is one of Drake’s most iconic outerwear designs, the classic double-breasted Polo Coat, presented here in a deep dark navy wool tweed.

The polo coat silhouette is universally loved among menswear enthusiasts, and Drake’s interpretation is especially sought after for its balance of classic tailoring and relaxed British elegance.

This particular piece was made by Belvest, one of Italy’s top-tier tailoring houses. During this period, Drake’s ready-to-wear coats were still produced by Belvest, applying exceptionally refined patterns and structure.
Today, Belvest is used by Drake’s almost exclusively for MTO-level production, making this RTW piece even more valuable from a craftsmanship standpoint.

Although made in Italy, the coat reflects Drake’s own pattern adjustments, resulting in a slightly more relaxed fit and signature Drake’s detailing.

The fabric has a dense, slightly coarse compressed tweed texture, giving the coat a structured drape and weight.
