 This is an antique hardback book with the title Liberty of Ripon on the front cover.
The title page reads:

Printed by A. Strahan, 1805, law printer to the king most excellent majesty for J. Butterworth, law bookseller Fleet St, and J. Cooke Ormond Quay, Dublin. 

Full leather cover with tooled outer edge and a red centre of cover with hand tooled gilt line frame around. With same on spine numbered 6 on spine.

Normal signs of age and use wear, mostly on the edges and corners. The outer cover is damaged as shown in the photos.
The pages are a little discoloured. The sides and top of the pages are dusty.

It measures approx. 9 and 1/2 inches x 6 and 1/4 inches with 676 numbered pages inside.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml).


If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 50 years.
