This product is a vintage Tiger Electronics Talkboy.

I tested it with new batteries and a blank tape. The mechanism works, rewinds, fast forwards, plays, records…..but it sounds scratchy when playing. Makes a crackling noise at times. The recording does work but it wasn’t clear or didn’t play each time that I tried to play it back. The sound definitely will need work.
