У даній книзі зібрано близько півтори тисячі унікальних фотознімків – свідків героїчних боїв за Україну. Цей альбом сміливо можна назвати фотохронікою ОУН, УПА та збройного підпілля ХХ  століття. Частину світлин складають повстанці в уніформах, а також є фото з міжвоєнного періоду. Бо не всі могли в той час сфотографуватися, аби нам залишити світлу пам’ять. Так, першу частину складають знімки загиблих повстанців, другу – в’язнів совєтських тюрем та концтаборів.

UKRAINIAN INSURGENT ARMY IN PHOTOS

This rare and richly illustrated historical photo album spans 438 pages and contains approximately 1,500 unique black-and-white photographs of members of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), documenting their resistance movement and everyday life from the 1940s through the 1960s.

The album can be considered a visual chronicle of the OUN, UPA, and the broader Ukrainian armed underground during the period 1940–1960. It includes images of insurgents in uniform, photographs from the interwar years, as well as exceptionally rare documentary material. Due to the extreme conditions of the time, photography was limited, which makes these surviving images especially valuable. The first section presents photographs of fallen insurgents, while the second part documents prisoners held in Soviet prisons and concentration camps.

Published in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, in 2012. Hardcover, 438 pages. Richly illustrated with photographs and documents depicting UPA fighters, commanders, their families, and village life. The album includes portraits, group photographs, battlefield scenes, and rare candid moments.

Very limited edition — only 300 copies printed.
