White LED Version Intelligent ONSTEP SHC GOTO Hand Controller V3 with 1.3-inch OLED for Astronomical Telescope

Description:
- The hand controller is designed based on official OnStep hardware and software, therefore in theory the controller should work with other equatorialalt-az mounts and equipment that follow the original OnStep design standards. The hand controller by default is designed to communicate with OnStep devices via the onboard ST4 port. The OnStep devices compatible with this hand controller must meet the following hardware and firmware requirements:

ST4 Port Pin-map:
- The OnStep device must include an ST4 port, and the +5V pin must be connected. Otherwise, the hand controller will not be able to draw power from the ST4 port. The official pin-map of ST4 defined by OnStep is shown below, which should be carefully verified and strictly adhered to.

ST4 Cable:
- The hand controller uses the standard RJ12 6P6C ST4 guiding cable which should have identical wiring order on both ends, as shown below:

OnStep Firmware Configuration:
- ST4 port and the support for hand controllers must be enabled in the OnStep firmware to use the hand controller. Configure the two following macro definitions in Config.h:

- The integrated firmware upgrade function is more convenient to upgrade: the controller reserves a TYPE-C interface for firmware upgrade, which can be used in conjunction with a self-developed APP, bidding farewell to tedious compilation environment configuration and redefining a new way of firmware upgrade.
